He continued his education at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette (Geaux Cajuns) where he earned a degree in Sports Medicine, a career in athletic training in his sights. After college, he had the opportunity to work in a hospital setting. It was there Casey saw the physical therapy/rehabilitation needs of a broader community. Young, pediatric patients to the elderly were in need of training, support and a plan to help them regain the strength, mobility and physicality to live their lives! This experience affirmed for him a career serving patients from all walks of life was important and brought him back to physical therapy.
Casey went on to pursue his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Womens’ University and has truly loved every aspect of serving patients as a physical therapist ever since! Patients would be quick to describe Casey Arceneaux as an honest, patient-centered and charismatic provider. His compassionate and authentic demeanor makes patients feel at-ease during treatment and that he truly cares about them.
Casey makes it a point to listen attentively to every patient who walks through his doors and treats them like family.
“Every patient is so special to me and my practice. God gave me the gift to connect deeply with all of my patients. I am able to remember so many details about their lives; therefore, when we cross paths later in life, it’s like no time has passed.” – Casey Arceneaux, PT
Casey believes that helping his patients reach their goals requires a team approach. As he says so often to patients in treatment, “You can’t fix yourself, I can’t fix you by myself, but working together we can improve your outcome.” He is passionate about giving patients the tools and confidence to take care of themselves and experience success in their daily lives.
Outside of the clinic, Casey loves to practice what he preaches. He’s active and exercises regularly, running and cycling. He is married to Jennifer and they have two children, Cole 14 and Cate 11. Casey loves his Louisiana roots and stays connected to family traditions and recipes that have been handed down through generations: like making boudin, deer sausage, crawfish bisque, and boiled crawfish. He’s also quite the gardener, planting a vegetable garden every summer that includes tomatoes, cucumbers, jalapenos, gypsy and bell peppers.
